Marcus Drysdale
Marcus is from a surveying background having obtained a Quantity Surveying degree from Leeds Polytechnic. As a director and principle shareholder of the company, Marcus commenced his journey with Acheson 30 years ago. Passion, hard work and an eye for detail are key aspects of Marcus' business style. His dedication has shaped the growth and direction of the company and developed an exceptional team, providing the platform for the continued success of the business.
Group Operations Director
Colin Johnson
Colin joined the team in 2010 and oversees the successful delivery of all Acheson's construction projects from commencement through to final handover. Colin's construction knowledge and leadership skills combined with his experience of similar roles in national and regional contracting businesses, contributes greatly to the success of Acheson. In addition, his client focus and passion for ensuring construction methodology and logistics are well thought through and implemented has resulted in the company forging long lasting relationships with clients and high levels of repeat business.
Commercial Director
Doug Willcock
Doug joined Acheson in 2006 and was welcomed to the Board of Directors in 2016 in the role of Commercial Director. Responsible for the successful commercial outcome of all Acheson construction projects, Doug's input commences at tender stage and continues through to the final account of each project. Doug's experience gained in other national contracting organisations and his commercial knowledge has benefited the business greatly.
Construction Director
Neil Hatton
Neil is an experienced, diligent and results driven professional with proven capabilities across all main industry sectors spanning almost 30 years. Prior to his appointment, Neil had successfully delivered major projects at Morgan Sindall, Midas and Ernest Ireland. He joined the Board of Directors as Construction Director and has been known to Managing Director Marcus Drysdale for over 20 years.
Neil is responsible for the planning and management of all construction activities for the projects under his control. This includes; determining and managing the project requirements, monitoring performance and assuming overall responsibility to ensure all contractual obligations are met.

Lloyd Surcouf
Lloyd is one of the founding members of the company and remains a director and principle shareholder of the company. Lloyd managed the successful delivery of all Acheson projects during his time as Construction Director in a career which spans over 50 years in the construction industry. Lloyd's practical construction knowledge continues to be an invaluable asset to the business.

Rob Acheson
Rob formed the company with Lloyd in partnership in 1974 and remains a director and principle shareholder of the company. Rob's overview of the business and experienced gained at the helm of Acheson over many years continues to be of great benefit to Marcus and the team.
