BCIA 2018 - Roussillon wins Housing Project of The Year 2018
Roussillon Park scooped the Housing Project of the Year at the British Construction Industry Awards 2018 held in London. The awards recognise the outstanding achievements in the building and civil engineering industry.
Acheson Construction are extremely proud to have been involved in this project of 252 dwellings in a mix of 2 and 3 storey houses and apartments built on the former Roussillon Army Barracks in Chichester. We worked closely with the developer, Zero C Holdings, to ensure that all properties on the development were built to the Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4, Lifetime Homes and Secured by Design standards. The development incorporates sustainable and renewable technologies including bio-mass district heating, photovoltaics and rainwater harvesting as well as high levels of insulation.
