Charity Ball raises over £9700 for Alzheimer's

OVER £9700 RAISED FOR ALZHEIMER'S

After a long 3-year Covid-19 delay, the 'bloomin' marvellous' Alzheimer's charity fundraiser finally went ahead on Saturday 25th March.

Over 100 guests including a number of Acheson staff and subcontractors purchased tickets and brought along friends and family to enjoy a celeb-style red carpet welcome, glass of fizz on arrival, delicious 3 course meal, copious amounts of table wine, jam-packed raffle and auction with some excellent prizes including a luxury spa and golf weekend in the Cotswolds (courtesy of Acheson), 3 supercar track day at Silverstone (courtesy of Barchester) and an array of signed sports, celebrity chef, tv personality and children's author books and merchandise.

The raffle and auction alone smashed the £5k event target by raising over £6500 with one of the excited guests bidding over £1000 for a bungee jump.

To finish the night off with a bang, guests were treated to a fantastic show from the 5 piece live band who packed the dance floor and gave everyone a thoroughly good time.

The current total stands at £9773, with more donations still coming in.
