The new 'Museum of Dorset'
Dorset County Museum is an independent museum and one of the county’s pre-eminent cultural and heritage organisations. The museum has a long history of recording and conserving Dorset’s heritage. Following a whopping grant of £11,349,200.00 from the Heritage Lottery Fund, Dorset County Museum can realise and deliver a major redevelopment of the museum.
The first part of this process is the demolition and enabling works. Acheson Construction are pleased to have been awarded the contract to carry out these initial works.
Acheson Construction will also be seeking to tender for the redevelopment and re-build works. As a local company we would be thrilled to be involved from start to finish with such an important community asset.
