Veteran's accommodation is underway
Acheson construction are delighted to be a part of the veteran’s development at Wilton Hill. The project is part of a larger, mixed development of the former Erskine barracks. The development is in partnership between Our Enterprise, Redrow Homes & Wilton Community Land Trust.
Work on the site started on the 26th May with a ground-breaking event. The occasion was, marked with a reception for all parties involved in helping to get the project underway with John Glen MP, climbing aboard a digger to break the first ground onsite.
John Boulton & Mike Hill are the project managers overseeing the £5.1 million construction of 44 high quality, one & two bedroom flats and a café for ex-serving personnel wishing to make the transition to independent living.
Acheson Construction are also negotiating the next stage of the development, The Enterprise Hub. The Hub will provide co-working opportunities, workshop units and training facilities for both veterans and local business.
