Work starts on stunning cliff top development
Work has commenced at Clifftops, Cove Holiday Park, Portland on a £3 million project for Colonial Leisure.
Acheson are delighted to be awarded the contract for five luxury holiday lodges set on a clifftop location overlooking the English Channel.
Nestled between the gardens of Pennsylvania Castle and the clifftops this breath-taking location is both environmentally and scenically sensitive, making this project both challenging & interesting.
The five lodges have been carefully designed to minimise their visual impact whilst providing high quality accommodation with framed sea views. Three split level lodges are located in the centre of the plan, with a bungalow at both the North and South ends. This arrangement utilises the existing topography of the site to offer sea views from all habitable rooms, whilst blending sympathetically into the landscape.
The construction of much needed high-end tourist accommodation will benefit the local economy and provide employment opportunities. The success of Clifftops will also act as a catalyst for further development across the Cove Holiday Park.
The project is due to commence in January 2018.
