Acheson were asked to deliver a collection of affordable apartments on the former St Nicholas Church site at Buxton Road in Weymouth.
This new development involved the demolition of the existing Church building and the erection of a three/four storey block of 18 no. affordable flats.
Traditionally built with masonry and metal clad, the building has a light weight steel frame forming the 4th floor.
Included are all internal circulation areas, an undercover parking facility, external balconies and oriel windows as well as M&E and all external works and drainage, incoming mains services connections and EV charging points.
These fantastic properties include a fabulous penthouse with wraparound terrace offering stunning sea views of the Channel that stretch as far as France on a clear day.
The works were delivered on behalf of repeat client Sovereign (now SNG/Sovereign Network Group) following the success of the 127 unit Potters Grove scheme in Poole and we look forward to adding more SNG projects to our expanding portfolio following the award of a place on their Multi-contractor Framework for New Build Projects.
