This important project delivered on behalf of repeat client Aster involved the refurbishment and upgrade of the existing St Anne’s House along Banning Street in Romsey, Hampshire.
The contract was delivered over 5 phases of works within a live environment and involved; modification works to Garage 8 to accommodate the existing boiler plant located on the roof, roofing improvement works, asbestos removal and refurbishment works to all floors (ground - 5th).
The works were carried out floor by floor to allow the Client to relocate the existing residents to each newly finished floor before commencing works to the next level.
All works were carefully planned and programmed to allow for minimal disruption and additional Health and Safety precautions including strict Covid-19 safety procedures were be put in place to ensure the safety of all residents, staff and visitors.
The project was delivered ahead of programme and under budget and the project team built up a strong relationship with the residents and local community throughout.
Acheson are pleased to have strengthened our relationship with Aster following the completion of our 2nd successful project for this client.
Acheson also delivered Neil’s View in Maiden Newton, Dorset which involved working with Aster and the local Community Land Trust to construct 14 new homes on the edge of the village.
