The design and construction of this private indoor swimming pool and changing room was commissioned by the client following completion of 2 previous projects at the same site. After restoration of the main house on the site, which saw the conversion of ground and first floor apartments back into the original manor house, we were instructed to fully renovate and refurbish the existing cottage within the house grounds including construction of a new garage block. The final phase of the project included the construction of an indoor swimming pool built from traditional natural stonework, glulam portal frames and a clay tiled roof.
As main contractor, we had overall responsibility for the design and construction of the pool a local specialist contractor. We have completed several indoor and external swimming pools including hydrotherapy pools.
The project included extensive hard and soft landscaping works including the creation of a walled garden. We pride ourselves in the excellent relationship we developed with the client to deliver a special private residence in this rural location.
