Acheson welcome work experience student Andrew Fletcher

We are very pleased to welcome Andrew Fletcher who has joined Acheson for work experience.

Andrew is studying to become a Quantity Surveyor and has recently completed a 2-year Construction course, he plans to start his University course in Quantity Surveying this Autumn.

During his time with the company, Andrew has been working with different departments at our Whiteley office as well as gaining valuable experience on site from our project teams.

Andrew had this to say about his time so far:
‘’During my work experience with Acheson Construction, I have learnt a lot by working alongside a range of different professionals, including Quantity Surveyors and Estimators. This has also given me a great insight into the industry for the future and what I can expect once I have completed my studies at University. My interest in the construction industry comes from having family involved in the industry, my Grandad owns his own Construction company and I have worked on site with him part time whilst studying. I have been lucky enough to get on-site experience whilst also learning in the classroom, which has really helped me understand a lot about the industry. Acheson have been really friendly during my time and everyone within the company has gone out of their way to help me learn not just in the office, but out on site visits’’.

We are very pleased to welcome Andrew to Acheson and have been impressed with his professional attitude and enthusiasm.
