Mill Court Work Experience

This week we have been very pleased to welcome student Harry McArthur for work experience.

Harry is the son of Project Manager Andy McArthur who is running our new care home site in Shalford for Barchester Healthcare.

With his father in Construction, Harry has always had an interest in the industry. This week, he has spent time on site with the Site Management and Health & Safety teams supervising trades, monitoring progress and taking part in a client meeting.

Harry has also spent time with several departments in our regional office in Fareham to give him an idea of the broad range of job roles available in our exciting industry. He has gained knowledge and understanding of the Operations, Quantity Surveyor, Estimator and Buyer roles.

After completing College, Harry plans to join the industry and has said:

‘’I have enjoyed visiting site and learning about the different roles out there, the whole week has been enjoyable.’’

We would like to wish Harry the very best of luck with his upcoming studies and look forward to welcoming another promising young individual to the industry.
