Acheson Construction proudly sponsor Dorset Architectural Heritage Day 2019

Acheson Construction are delighted to be a sponsor of the Dorset Architectural Heritage Day 2019.  This important annual event raises awareness of Dorset’s rich heritage through a series of open days, talks and visits.  Acheson are currently under construction at ‘Tomorrows Museum for Dorset’ for the Dorset County Museum, a major redevelopment project that will double the museums floor space and offer a suite of new galleries to display collections of both national and international importance for the first time. 

A specially created space for researchers and volunteers to work on the collections will also be available, this area will be visible to the public giving lucky visitors a special behind the scenes look. Improved archive and storage facilities, a state-of-the-art learning space, research area, gallery, shop and cafe are also included in this exciting contract.
